No. of Posts per page in a topic and No. of topics in a Board not changing issue

Hi All,

I have found a new issue on my site.
In a topic setting I have set, Number of topics per page in the message index as 20 and Number of posts per page in a topic page as 5 ... but still posts with even 22 replies shows in 1 page only. I want to keep this no. low as images for all the pages start getting loaded for one page. But even though settings changes there is no pagination happening.

What could be the reason?

It never worked but suddenly it started working after reporting the issue here. The only change I did was I checked the checkbox which says disable user defined count... in topic settings

If you have a user defined count, you can change it in your profile to override whatever the admin panel says, so presumably your profile had it set differently to the admin panel...
