EDIT:  That was easy enough to upgrade. Waiting for authorization...

This was over 18 months ago, there is no further work on this mod by the original author or anyone else. Is there a process for declaring a mod "abandoned" so it can be updated for the current version of the software?
Running SMF since May '04.  Started with YaBB on Oct 2001.

Yes, I think a MOD Author must be forced to supply his sources and when he is not updating his MOD for the newest version after 2 months,
the Sources should be given to somebody else, so he can update these Mods...

Would be good if MOD authors would take a bit more professional approach to their MODs.

They could also put out paid MODs so they will make some money.

Maybe SMF can make the payment process for MODs on their own
SMF site so all payments go through SMF and the MOD authors will be paid out.

This way both sides will have some interest to work on this stuff some more...

Regards, Stefan.

Anybody have an update to this for 2.0.2? Our members would really like it.

I got it working with 2.0.11... I think. I don't want to support this but since someone asked me to do it for them, I'll release it. I made a couple of changes but I didn't really test it. Please test and let me know if anything is broken (and hopefully the fixes to make it work).

Won't let me edit the previous post. Some issues with that one. This is a pretty bad hack job on my part. Just hope it works.
