decorating "ssi_boardNews"

I need help with decorating my boardNews that is displayed on my site.  Decorating, I mean adding colors to it instead of having it look plain with just a bolded titled.  As you can see at my site, http://www.namitamaki.net/ , my news is on the front but I'd like to make the title box a different color so visitors may easily seperate the title from the news content.  Another thing, I'd like to seperate each news box from eachother, on my site, they are on top of eachother like glue, and i want them to be spaced from eachother. 

If this is possible, please help me.  Thanks!
