well i am having similar issues but my own case is that i Add a Custom PHP Block a Simple Portal Option in the Admin and Pasted
<?php ssi_recentPoll(); ?>. The listing of the poll display very well but after selecting an option and i click on submit in the poll i get this error bellow.

Please don't access SSI.php by URL directly; you may want to use the path ('/home/suprai5/public_html/eparliament/SSI.php') or add ?ssi_function=something.

what may be the cause, plz i need a help.
