My Admin and maintenance buttons unseen

Please, my admin and maintenance buttons are not seen in my menu buttons. I cant configure my forum because of that. also, i have experiencing log in error on my admin panel.

are you using SMF 2.1? there is no maintenance button in the main menu.

you have to log in as the admin account that you set up when you installed the forum
