Base domain name show forum?

What is the best way to set the domain name (like: www forum com) to display the forum and skip a home page entirely?  Currently I have to do a www forum com/forum, so visitors have to click a link on the home page to get to the forum.  TY

Is your forum installed in a subdirectory?

if so, you have two options...  you can move the forum to the root -- or you can add an htaccess that automatically bounces people who hit the root into the subdirectory
