When locking a topic a pop-up: "Do you want to lock this topic?"

۞

I'm not sure its neccesary, its like on sticky topics you can quickly change it back if you dont want it to happen.

I also think so. A confirmation is not needed for this action.Because it can be easily undone.

I always lock threads by accident and dont notice then they end up locked for ages

I don't think it's necessary either. If we do that, we might as well have popups for "Are you sure you want to post?" and "Are you sure you want to read this thread?"

Ben_S

its easy to lock a thread by mistake and not notice, then your other admins/mods think it was locked for a reason and it stays locked

How is it easy to lock a topic by mistake? Unless you like to randomly click buttons...

Ben_S

They mod function links are close to the inline links if you have inline links enabled, so its easy to accidentilly miss the link to take you back to the board index and hit lock.

Yeah its easy to add a javascript pop up, always add it myself, just would be nice if it was in by default :P
