Push Notification

Please is there mod like a push  notification that if my members get updates or reply it shows on their chrome or google browser without being on the forum..but as far as they have internet access just like the Facebook push notification

For 2.0, there is this:

ummm....  neither 2.1 nor that mod will work "without being on the forum"

the forum is not an app....

Maybe the idea of push notifications was too early in 2016.

As more and more websites start to look and feel like apps, is this in the works?
