QC-Theme: Usability, Responsiveness, Bootstrap

Hi all,

our online quiz community has been using SMF for more than a year now. We recently decided to abandon tapatalk and were looking for a mobile theme, but couldn't find one that would fully suit our needs.

So we ended up building a new modern responsive theme on top of bootstrap, including many usability tweaks as well as excluding tons of clutter. The user feedback so far has been great - it seems a web forum such as SMF lends itself well to responsive design for mobile and non-mobile devices alike. However, the SMF codebase itself feels a bit outdated and we had to make a few small modifications to the original source code. On the plus side, the performance is great!

I just wanted to share our approach to 'modernize' SMF. Feel free to take to take a look, copy & steal bits and pieces, get some inspiration, share some advice or leave some criticism!
