Mambo SMF Template Selection Help

I am using three Mambo templates, one for the home page, another for secondary, and a third without any left or right navigation for the forum.  I linked the template to the Mambo-SMF Component, but whenever I login from the forum home page it redirects to the secondary templates instead of staying with the forum template, how can I force it to stay with the Forum template no matter how it gets to the forum.
