you still should consider upgrading to SMF 2.0.11 as SMF 1.1.* is really no longer supported and not getting security patches moving forward.

Did my changes listed here http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=534915.0  You will be good with up to php 5.6 which is end of Jan 1, 2019
Also did a minor ad management  query change as well.
