Recommended privileges for paid subscribers

I'm trying to find a baseline to use for Paid Subscribers.

What is the recommended set of privileges to enable for paid subscribers?

Anyone care to share what they use to entice members to pay for their membership?

It pretty much depends a lot on the type of forum you have. A good privilege for some forums for example might be access to a shoutbox/chat, but if that's not the type of thing that would fit well on your forum, than it wouldn't really be an incentive for your members to pay for membership.

Some examples that I've seen other forums do:

A private area for paid subscribers (with posts and topics worth paying for)
Being able to edit their posts
Ability to add avatar/signature
More PM storage
Different mods/add ons that only they were able to use

Just keep in mind though that it can be a fine line between finding things that entice members to want to pay for membership, and taking away basic functionality and upsetting others that don't pay for membership
