User cannot delete postings older then one year

We have a forum with a lot of usefull tips and tricks.
But all this information can be deleted by its 'owner' when he wants to.
For example when there is a personal conflict and he desides to leave the forum.

Is there a way to secure postings from deleting when they are, for example, older then one year?
