Php7 and https proxy support are the two big things in this release, aside from minor other patches

THAT^ is exciting.

Any news on IPv6 support? The current mod out there breaks the hell out of SMF, yet I'd gladly use that bad system vs. no IPv6 support.

Thanks!

Arantor

The mod is all there is for 2.0 right now (and it works just fine on an otherwise unmodded forum so if it 'breaks the hell out of SMF' it's your mods doing it, not core SMF)

The mod is also the basis of what's in 2.1.

Yes, as it has been stated previously in some of this topic's answers

I know it doesn't mean anything, but seeing v2.0.14 at the bottom of this SMF forum made me smile this morning.  :)

2.0.14 is a huge release introducing lots of changes and improvements to support https/ssl and mysqli.  We are testing out the patch here and at other team sites in order to hopefully prevent introducing any bugs during this process.

Major props to the team for intergrating these features in a mere 3 months after 2.0.13 was launched! High hopes for the things yet to come! Keep being awesome!
I use smf to learn to write php and css. It's pretty neat. |

We are still working on it, and PHP7 will be suported in our next patch, 2.0.14

Any news on the 2.0.14 patch? My dedicated server that I am using strictly for PHP 7 support is up for renewal in 8 days - and not sure if I should renew it or not.

d3vcho

There's one last bug we must fix before releasing 2.0.14.

What's the issue? I'm willing to help on this one.

d3vcho

Thanks for your interest. Not sure about the status of this actually, but I think Colin got it almost ready;

If that is the only issue, it looks solved already.

Kindred

Yes, but we need to properly build the patch and upgrade to avoid any of the previous issues with unsynced patch vs upgrade vs install.

That's what we are working in right now.

Ok, great! I'll hold off from renewing that server for as long as I can then.

Any update on SMF 2.0.14? I am eagerly waiting for this version as I want to use PHP 7.0 for my website.

Thanks,
Kailahs
