Fresh install - all image links point to 127.0.0.1

I decided to setup SMF again to make a forum for a few friends. Fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (big mistake as it turns out, since SMF doesn't work with PHP7...) but I installed PHP 5.6 and made it the version in use with Apache, which then got me past the DB module loading error the SMF web installer was throwing. I installed it just fine, but when I go to it, all the picture links are broken; I looked at the image source links, and they all point to 127.0.0.1. (See attached screenshot.) What happened? I haven't even customized anything, at all. How do I fix this? Is it because I left the localhost path entry in the installer, even though it said it should almost always be localhost, or something?

run What is repair_settings.php? to fix the paths.

Wow, I manually fixed all the broken paths with that and now it seems to be working. Thanks a lot!

Any idea what may have caused it? Just curious.

a bug that has been fixed we believe in SMF 2.1, but not back ported to SMF 2.0.
