vB2 -> SMF only imported top-tier categories
« on: November 04, 2005, 05:27:18 AM »
I ran the import from a vB board with multiple boards and boards, and only the top-level boards imported properly. The sub-boards imported, but they aren't placed anywhere that shows up. For example, we have projects with their own boards, and under each project board there is a "Private" board for internal development. Although these internal boards show up in things like the stats page, when I view one, the breadcrumbs bar shows something like this:

Forum home >>  >> [Private] Project internal.

Any ideas? I guess I could just manually adjust the database to put all the internal boards in the right place, but I'd think that this problem would have been at least encountered before and a fix found...

As far as I know this problem hasn't been encountered before. If you like, I can take a look.
