SMF document folder

Does SMF have the ability to have a Forum that would contain a Folder for document storage ie:
I have a printer forum, within that forum have a folder that would contain manuals for specific printers

You could use the downloads mod or one if the gallery mods for that.

Is this in the right forum? Is it a specific ver 2.1 question or SMF generally.

If the latter -

I'm running SMF2.0.13 and use this mod:  http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=992  on my forum for motorcycle technical manuals etc.  Works a treat.

The download manager in TinyPortal would achieve the same thing just as well, if you use TP.
