SMF doesn't accept personal email addresses like [email protected]

I am trying to change my (admin) email address at account settings with a [email protected] but it says
The following errors occurred when trying to save your profile:
You have not entered a valid email address.

Yes, I think the current limit on TLDs is 6 or 7 characters in 2.0. Though I thought I made it 8 back in like 2.0.6 or 2.0.7... don't remember.

2.0.13 I use currently, but anyway.
Do you remember which file and where is to change?

So no luck, by default it's set to 2,15 that means 2 to 15 characters, still it can't accept 11 characters.

Which file did you check? The link I provided was just an example.

For your Profile/Account email you need to look in Profile-Modify.php.

Do a search in all your Sources files for the {2,6} string.
