Converting a large UBB Classic (flat file) forum to SMF
« on: May 01, 2017, 07:20:44 PM »
I have a large 47k member Infopop UBB Classic flat file forum that desperately needs to get converted to SMF.

Can it even be done?

Any converter available?

TIA.

A flat file forum? Damn.

If I could see an example of the data structure, I could probably cook up a converter for you. :)

Yeah it's surprising to think they still exist.

I'm more concerned with how the data is currently stored in the flat file, would it be possible to see an example of one of the data files (don't need to send any real data, you can manually populate in some dummy data)? Are there numerous flat files (for users, threads and etc.), or just the single one which stores it all by the way?

Thank you. :)
