In need of a non-post based award system-suggestions?

I've searched through the modifications for this but with no luck.

i'm looking for a way to reward members for actions they do. These are not post based actions rather, they've done something nice for another forum member and i would like to recognize this positive action publicly .

I or a Moderator needs to be in control of assigning the 'awards'
I will also need to allow for multiple awards to one person.

does anyone have a suggestion for a way to accomplish this.

I have an automated system but you can also create your own awards and hand them out to people as well.
