Scheduled Tasks

If I go to scheduled tasks-->Task Log and look at Paid Subscription Checks (Task Name) and the time taken says 0 seconds, does that mean it did work? It seems that the tasks have not been going out as most of them say 0 seconds. All approval notifications and daily maintenance tasks also say 0 seconds. Does this mean it did not work and if so what can I do to fix this? Thanks
