Upgrade to SMF 2.0. There is no official patch for SMF 1.1.x.

How do I get to admin to do the upgrade when I try to access the forum all I get is the error message.

You can't upgrade via the package manager either.

Essentially you start by replacing all the files.

Can you recommend a service or person that could do the upgrading for the forum? Its all above my limited knowledge & how much would it cost.

Well I manager to get to the admin page & the error message was clogging up the forum error log, deleted all the logs & the forum is up & running again.

you still need to upgrade to correctly fix the error.
