Hi there,

i moved my forum to another server. Everything works fine but i get tons of errors called "open_basedir restriction in effect."

https://www.schwanger-online.de/forum/index.php?pretty;action=admin&area=logs;sa=errorlog;desc

2: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/www/web0/html/forum/Themes/core/Errors.template.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/vhosts/schwanger-online.de/:/tmp/)

Datei: /var/www/vhosts/schwanger-online.de/httpdocs/forum/Sources/Load.php

Zeile: 1851

So - the path "/home/www/web1/html/"  is wrong! This path is from my first server years ago ???  ; -)
The right path should be "/var/www/vhosts/erziehung-online.de/httpdocs/"

I looked in each file...? Made a search in the files. (of course a did a check with "repair_setting.php")
I can't find this path anywhere ???

i checked the .htaccess file  - this old path is just nowhere???

the folder "cache" ist emptied as well...

Any clue where i can search this path?

Thanks and greets,
Thilo

Well - first i fixed the paths with the "repair_setting.php" file (the one from the official download area right here :- )

I double-checked the paths again and again in the "Settings.php"

There just IS no path like the one mentioned in the error-log...

Greets,
Thilo

Illori

so you fixed the paths for the core theme as well?

Thilo

Well - i don't have the core-theme at all  ::)

No folder and no core theme in the admin-backend of the forum.

Illori

are you able to log into the forum and check if the theme exists in the admin panel?

Thilo

Yes i am - and no there is just the default-curve-theme - and my own theme. (which is basically a variation of the curve-theme...)

Illori

where in the admin panel are you looking? given that error message it is impossible that the theme does not exist even if you dont have as an option to select it.

Thilo

don't say such thing : -) that makes me a little uneasy right now  :o

Attached two pics of the backend (sorry - in german)

Thilo

Ok - i got it.

Don't ask my how or why, but in the database in smf_themes -> base_theme_dir

there was the path to the missing core theme instead of the path to my own theme... ???

No everything is fine...
