Hi Gang,

Just tried loading the 2.0.14 package on my existing forum. When I went to install, I got a message that I needed PHP 5.3 (was on 5.2). I installed that from my GoDaddy control panel and then installed the 2.0.14 package. Now, when I try to visit the forum I get the following error:

Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /home/content/86/[xxxxxxx]/html/forum/Sources/Load.php on line 142

Any pointers will be appreciated.

Okay, I'll install that. Funny, the warning message on the package said at least 5.3. I thought it prudent not to jump to the blending edge.  :)

I'll install 5.4 and see what happens.

Bleeding edge would be 7.1.

PHP themselves don't support 5.3 through 5.5 any more and 5.6 is in limited support.

(For historical reasons, 6 was skipped)

Thanks, Arantor... show how far behind I am.

That did the trick Arantor... PHP 5.4 is installed and I'm back up and running. Thanks again!
