patch 2.0.14 crashed my forum

something about not able to connect to the database.

I had to restore from yesterday's back up ... thankfully not much was lost.


if you have not installed this patch beware!!!

I am sure there is something I did wrong on my end.  But mind you I have installed all version and patches up to 2.0.13 and I have been very successful at it.  This patch has brought new appreciation to my backups.  Thank God for it.

Very likely your host hasn't updated to the already out of date PHP 5.4...

Sorry to hear about that. Can you give us some details about what symptoms you are seeing. As Arantor stated, you probably need to upgrade your PHP version to 5.4 or above.
