2.0.14 Fresh install, shows up with white page

As the title says I have a fresh install of SMF on the forum, but it shows up with a white blank page on register, logout, login and sometimes when you're logged in. What could be causing this issue.

It was doing this right after even before I installed these, I have also used these on a different forum I helps start and it didn't cause this issue, same smf version too.

I would uninstall pretty urls or disable the rewriting of actions under pretty urls

Looks like some of the installed mods is causing this problem.
Can you try to uninstall 404 on missing topics/board mod as well?

Also, try to switch theme to default and see if the problem still exist?

Literally everything is uninstalled, and its the default theme now and its still broken...

I have a few times, fresh set of files still break, and there's nothing in the logs..

What PHP version are you running?
Also look at your .htaccess file

nothing in /var/apache2/access.log

PHP Version 5.5.9
.htaccess has some traces of prettyURL left, but since the issue was before pretty URL I doubt its that.

I just put in a fresh install, and its still not working, I even re downloaded the zip from smf to make sure I didn't have a corrupt .zip file

Hmm I would look into your /etc/php.ini and set up a global php error_log path and try again.
And see if anything gets logged there when you load a page

/etc/php.ini is blank when I nano into it

I honestly have no clue why its doing this, and its getting really frustrating...

something might be wrong with my host so I'll reinstall the OS and check again, this will take a lot longer to update yall on though.

This sounds like a .htaccess or something related to prettyURLS thing, but as you stated above that there's nothing in .htaccess that could cause the problem I'm out of ideas.

So I have a fresh os and a fresh install without any mods, and its still broken. Yea its really weird There is no .htaccess in the main directory, but there is one in attachments

Also a bit of info that might help, when I install the forum I need repair_settings.php or its only text, the theme doesn't work properly straight from install

Is it possible that the website is running out of memory?? the php test file says I have a limit of 128MB

if your server error log does not tell you what is going on, maybe it is time to look for a new host.

It's weird if it works sometimes and sometimes not. Then definitely you should ask your hosting support for advise or seek for a new host as previously suggested.

I am my own host so im not sure where to look for the issue

Yeah try simple php scripts. If not turn on php error logging try putting this in the file

Slight chance it is a host security issue so this would be worth checking, I note this code from 2.0.11 still exists on my 2.0.14 forum.
