First time error to login

I also have a problem when reprimanding me and the problem is with the login.
If I do it from the start page always the first time it indicates error, I have to perform the operation twice. The second always accepts it correctly.

The case is that if I log in from a subforum or topic always accept it the first time.

What can be the problem?

The SMF version is 2.0.14

Did it happen in 2.0.13?

I always have to enter 2 times the username and password

If that were the problem, login would never work.  This has been reported on several forums, and I saw it on one of the 2.0.14 forums I recovered.  Clean install running Curve, requires multiple attempts to login.  Only solution I found is to revert to 2.0.13, or disable session check in LogInOut.php.  Can't replicate the glitch on my host, it appears to be caused by a wonky server config.

Ok, I just updated from 2.0.13 to 2.0.14 last night on my site at hxxp:proride.com [nonactive] and no issues since I was logged in. I logged off and called it a night. This morning I'm also having the issue of no being able to log in in which I get this message no matter where I try to log in from.

Your session timed out while posting. Please go back and try again.

Anyone have a good fix for a non technical person like me? How do I revert back to 2.0.13?

There are two different problems.  If you are using a theme other than Curve and can't login at all -
