Hello,

When I'm log in as myself and after I have written a new topic or post, I see the icon for new post as normally the icon has to be for myself

This problem happens only when I use https (not with http)

version SMF 2.0.14

Anybody knows how to solve this problem?

Thank you  :)

When i'm connected by HTTPS and after I have written a new topic or post, I see the icon for new post: " on my own post when normally the icon that I have to see is "no new post": because it's my own post and only others  connected people have to see  here the new post icon
When I'm using HTTP protocol all is OK, the problem exist only with HTTPS and I don't understand why   :(   (sorry for my bad english)

Thank you so much for your help  :)

may it be because it's not HTTPS here ?

(in this case how to have here https instead http  when I want to configure my own no new posts and new posts images ? )

Thank you for your help  :)

Illori

since this is not a default feature of SMF you would need to post in the mods support topic.

growly

I think that this may be a default feature of SMF because this problem exists before installing the mod and still exists after I remove the mod.
It just happened when I use HTPPS. With https all my forum run good , there is only this problem.
I think it's not normal I see on my own post when I have to see

Do you think there is something wrong with https installation ?

Thank you  :)

Illori

no that specific feature is not default to SMF.

Kindred

As Illori says, this is NOT a core feature in SMF and you must have installed a mod to allow custom icons  -- because SMF has no such fields or settings...  it only uses (the same ) on, on2 and off image files for every board
