Changing webmaster address
« on: August 13, 2017, 04:32:12 AM »
Hi all.
I'm helping look after an SMF forum with a few issues. It appears the forum's webmaster email address configured, is incorrect.
If I go to:
  <full domain>/yabbse/index.php?action=admin;area=serversettings;sa=general
the email address listed in the "Webmaster Email Address" field, is missing the ".com" extension....  If I try and enter the correct/full email address and press "save", the page just reloads with the old/incorrect details.  Is there a way to force the entry to update to the correct value, or at least find out what is blocking me setting the correct value?

Many thanks,
Paul.

make sure your Setting.php file is writable by the server and try again.
