Can't see links after installing theme?

The links to Index, Search, have vanished.  It happens with other themes as well.

Not sure if this is the appropriate forum, but I've been trying all sorts of search terms and can't find anything.

Added some images... the area around "My Messages" in the first image, and the area where "very hot topic" is barely visible in the second.

You've installed a 1.1 theme on 2.0, which is not compatible. You'll need to use a 2.0 compatible theme.

wow i not seen that theme in years, but yeh as original author of the theme you need to use a dif one as it wont work on 2.0 line, on theme site read the Compatible With line and you will see that this theme is only compatible up to 1.1.21 not 2.0 line
