DELETE PACKAGES WITHOUT REFRESH v2.1
By Dougiefresh -> Link to Mod

Introduction
As of this writing, I currently have 187 mod packages in my Package Manager.  Deleting one of them forces a refresh of the screen I'm looking at.  This forces me to start over looking for mods.  This mod fixes this issue.

This mod also fixes the lack of alternating row colors in the avatar, language and other mod sections.

Admin Settings
There are no admin settings.  To remove this, you must uninstall the mod.

Compatibility Notes
This mod was tested on SMF 2.0.14 and SMF 2.1 Beta 3, but should work on SMF 2.0 and up.  SMF 1.x is not and will not be supported.

Changelog
The changelog can be viewed at XPtsp.com.

Is this okay? To use 187 modifications? Isn't that too much for the forum/server?  ???

My forum seems to run okay with that many mods.  It's not like all the mods are focused on a single area of the forum....  Although, at the moment I only have 23 mods installed....

Kindred has mentioned using over 200 mods I believe with no problem. I run nearly a hundred counting custom made ones.
DO NOT pm me for support!

Uploaded v1.1 - August 25th, 2017
o Fixed corrupted search lines that prevent proper installation on SMF 2.0.x!

@Everybody:  I apologize for releasing a corrupt version that doesn't install!  Evidently my "unmodified" (base) copy of my test forum was changed by accident!  This update fixes the issues that were accidentally introduced during the mod creation/review and not caught....

This mod is going to be rewritten in order to support SMF 2.1 Beta 3, as Package Manager was written quite a bit differently from SMF 2.0.x's Package Manager.  It will also likely require JQuery in order to do its thing on SMF 2.0.x, just so that I don't have to write two different versions of the same mod...  It's a decision I made once I saw how SMF 2.1 Beta 3 attaches the on-click event handlers....

Uploaded v2.0 - August 28th, 2017
o Rewrote mod for compatibility with SMF 2.1 Beta 3.
o Added CSS animation to be displayed while processing AJAX request.
o If no packages are in list after a delete, window is reloaded.

UPDATE:  This mod no longer makes any changes to source or templates files.  Instead it uses hooks to accomplish the aims.  It is honestly the version I wish I could have released to begin with....

You are right. Our forum is very very fast and normal. We have 227 installed mods and all are running

SMF 2.0.13

I have 130+ packaged mods on plus some of my own manual changes.

apart from conflicts when installing new mods or trying to get some old ones off, it all seems to work fine, give or take a few minor bugs.
The configuration of my Linux VPS (SMF 2.0 with 160+ mods & some assorted manual tweaks) can be found here and notes on my mods can be found here (warning: those links will take you to a drug related forum). My (House) music DJ dedication page is here

@dougie, that always bothered me too. I can't believe that you went to the trouble of writing, packaging and testing it !

... BUT I am glad that you did ! i have so many old versions of mods on my test system and now i can clean up without forgetting where i was up to.

i like these subtle productivity aids !
