127.0.0.1 refused to connect.

i just installed an update on my forum. i can connect to forum home, but when i try to login or view a board, i get this: 127.0.0.1 refused to connect. error message.

i didn't get an erro message after the update. odd

I'm using SMF 2.0.14

it seems other are having troubles connecting as well

is there an easy fix or should i just reinstall from scratch?

do you have a valid domain name?

we really dont recommend hosting a website from your home unless you know what you are doing. it is asking to be hacked.

i do. i use hostgator. never had this kind of issue before. their tech support said there was an error in the coding.  i didn't change anything

All of the links are at localhost.  Try running repair_settings.php.
