How can I customize the registration page?

Hi.

I want to add more boxes with info that people needs to fill in to register. Right now only mail, password and name is required. How do I expand?

Cant find anything on google

It is a school project, where every school in the country is involved. Upon registration I would like to enforce the person registrating to chose a school from the dropdown. Is there any easy way to add questions like these?

Go to Admin > Core Features, select the power icon next to Advanced Profile Fields, then hit save at the bottom. Having enabled this feature, click on its title on the Core Features page to go to an area where you can add new fields for profiles, and yes, add them on registration too.
