Profile Template - Undefined index: external_original (smf 2.0.14)

Hi all,

I have noticed the following error consistently pop up in my error log.  It seems to occur any time any user accesses their forum profile information.

8: Undefined index: external_original
forum/Themes/default/Profile.template.php
Line: 2719

So I went to find default/Profile.template.php.  I'm can't do code so I compared that segment to a fresh download of the file to see if i could spot an error.  I couldn't, so I merely replaced the with a fresh profile.template.php download to see if that would work.  The error continues to occur whenever someone accesses their profile. 

The error seems to point to the part of the code that allows users to specify an avatar from an external url. 

Nothing seems to be broken on the forum, everything is working fine, it's just an error that consistently pops up and bugs me.

Any help appreciated.

I'm using smf 2.0.14 as in the title of the thread.

I have the following mods installed:

Pretty URLs Reverter
Member Awards
Tagging System
SMF Articles

Change All Subjects

Signature Area BBCode Buttons
6 Custom buttons / tabs with Sub Menus
Spoiler BBCode
Display Signatures Only Once Per Page

(I realise now that this list can be curtailed as there are several mods that aren't used that i could uninstall.)

I attach here the files mentioned.

You may need to list which ones before or after the coding wizards look at your files. Just an FYI.

That version of Profile-Modify.php is from 2.0.7

Grab a 2.0.14 version and replace it.

Hi, thanks for the help!

I have replaced the file with a new 2.0.14 version and it seems to work.

I have a new error, however, to do with the drafts mod, which I don't think is related (just co-incidental).  I'll post in the modifcation thread for help, and this one can be marked as solved.
