Retaining modified post data

Hello and thank you for this community. First post time...

We allow users to modify a post up to 5 minutes after posting. Is there a way to retain any changes that are made during a modify? This would only be visible to the Admins and mods. Right now, there is no way(that I can find) to see what the original data was.

There's a mod that retains post history but it's not for 1.1.x
