Icons for Forum Boards and Picture Insert

Is there a mod that lets you add icons to the left of your boards...  Like a little picture of a recipe box next to recipes discussion board.
Just looks a little bland as is.

Then a mod for inserting photos into posts instead of using the tag system?
I thought that was built in now, maybe I'm just missing it.

I'm running SMF 2.0.14.
