Making $post['time'] only display date, not hour?

Display only "Today" instead of "Today at 05:14 AM "
Same for "October 25, 2017" instead of "October 25, 2017, 03:15 "

$post(date) doesn't exist, and I can't seem to find documentation on all the possible $post requests
