it's a nice thought but by the time you have marked the URL, selected the internet link button and edited it for the referring text, you don't save much time as opposed to doing it manually but it IS a fiddly process lining up your cursor at the right spot so I also would welcome such a feature.

dougiefresh has a "Custom BBC Codes" mod and maybe you could use that as a start (based on url BBCodes and it's button) but the real Support people can help you further.

you mean you dont want people to be able to post links? you can disable the url bbc but i think you will annoy your users more then anything.

And yet, you have demonstrated, several times now, that you do not actually have problems, using the url plus displayed text.

As for shortening "automatically"
Automatically how? How would the system know what text to use?

Basically, just do the URLs with text the way you did above...   I fail to see your "issues"

I'm using integrate_buffer 
to remove the links when the BBC link is of the Type

[url = https: //www.simplemachines.org] text link [/ url]

now when any user posts a link of the type

[url = https: //www.simplemachines.org] https://www.simplemachines.org [/ url]

that smf generates automatically

now it will be replaced by text

[url = https: //www.simplemachines.org] I'm a link [/ url]

Glad you got it solved...   but, if you are going to be asking for help, you need to work on your language skills, since whatbyou describe as your solution bears absolutely no resemblance to what you indicated your "problem" to be.
