Forum Posts refresh rate

Ours is a relatively new forum with about 16000 posts in 657 topics and just 58 members as on date. Off late, the total forum posts number does not increase immediately after making a post. It takes 3-4 refreshes before the increased number shows up.

What could be causing this slowdown ?

the use of cache, which is a good thing. you dont want to overload the server by not using cache.

And what do the Level 1, 2 & 3 caching signify ?

In my current Load Balancing settings the average is shown as 14.23. A few days earlier it was 4 something. Does this have anything to do with the problem at hand.
