Softalicious install questions -awaiting answers to install

In Directory: VWGFORUM

BOARD SETTINGS -- (here are my questions)
Board Name      My Board       (relationship between this Name and the Board Email name)
. . .
Board Email       board@mydomain           WHAT IS THIS? what emails come to it  and what is relationship Board Name?

I expected something like admin at my domain.

And, for that email name, whatever it is, I assume I need to set up that email on the chosen domain?

Thanks very much. I install Vanilla perfectly and have just uninstalled it for lack or a feature I absolutely need (3 days of customizing work down the drain!).

I have read wonderful reviews of SMF and am looking forward to using it, but need to get past this page! Nothing in the manual about these answers.

I assume by "board name" they mean the same of the forum overall, and by "board email" they mean the email address of the owner so it can notify you if there's a problem.

To be honest, Softaculous does their own thing, we don't actually control anything.

The normal SMF installer makes it much clearer what it's asking for.
