Hi all,

For a time ago my forum send emails with this format on subject field: =?ISO-8859-1?B?Tm92YSBtZW.... instead to show the correct characters, i see that happens with special characters, like "ó", it must be a problem on codification, but i dont change anything on this! Why it happens? And how to solve this on email notifications for new topics, or for tipics with recent activity (marked to bem notifacated).

Thanks in advance

Non ASCII characters are required to be encoded in subject lines, from names.
That is why you see =?ISO-8859-1?B?Tm92YSBtZW
Which is the follow your language character set ISO-8859-1
The ?B? means base64 encoded
All the text Tm92YSBtZW  is a base64 enccoded string.

Your email client should decode it and show the correct text
