fresh clean install no mods giving database error

Just downloaded and installed smf 2.0.15 and keep getting this database error. There are no special mods installed or any changes to the software this is out of the box clean install.

any help would be appreciated as i'm trying to set this board up so I can move it from my local server to a live environment.

This is related to ipv6 support.  SMF 2.0.x does not support ipv6.  You either need to disable it or install a mod that provides ipv6 support.

The mod doesn't work I ended up having to turn off my ipv6 services on my LAMP server so that I could work on the forum software and make it ready for live site.
