Is it normal for a member's posts to be deleted without explanation?

I was told this was an open and friendly forum, with people willing help
out fellow members.

And so I posted an ask in the Paid section because I'm willing to pay.  I
also posted it in the graphics section and said that it was cross posted.

The one in the graphics section is missing.  I can only assume it's been
deleted.  But I wasn't informed.  Is this normal?

Duplicate posts may indeed be subject to removal.
Duplicate accounts (clone accounts) may be subject to removal as well; I'd advise not to activate clone accounts.
