Here's what I get:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ')' in /home/content/98/7307698/html/index.php on line 114

Website is ArimaOwners.com

Any help is appreciated.

Please attach your index.php file to a post so we can see what broke.

What version of php are you running?  This feels like an old version of php issue.

I was on PHP 5.3-something but upgraded to 5.4 and had sporadic issues with that error. Sporadic means that if I reloaded the page a couple of times, I would get it to load. I upgraded to 5.6 and now that's all I get.

Could you confirm the php version?

Please copy/paste what you see under Admin | Main | Support and Credits | Support Information.  It will look something like:
Version Information:
Forum version: SMF 2.0.15 (more detailed)
Current SMF version: SMF 2.0.15
GD version: bundled (2.1.0 compatible)
Database Server: Percona
MySQL version: 5.5.51-38.2
PHP: 7.1.3
Server version: Apache

I can't get a home screen at all now so I can't get to that page.

My GoDaddy account shows 5.6 installed.

And yet the error suggests it's actually running on 5.2... weird.

Well, seems to be working now. I'll let you know if something changes. Maybe the PHP 6 did take the 45 minutes that GoDaddy said it would even though they showed it as installed a few minutes after I set it up.
