New to smf and need some assistance

I tried to install it in a sub domain so I can hand copy mybb over to smf 2.0.15 full package. The install pages were perfect easy to see and use but when the last page came up confirming the installation I clicked on forum and got something I cannot use... since I don't think I can post the link ( I will try ) I get no skin and the type is all over the left of the page and I cannot log in...

Make sure to check all recommended URL-related fixes and delete it after you're done

Did you get everything sorted? The repair settings -tool should do the trick, since all your file paths would have changed when you moved the forum.
