Payment: I am willing to pay for the mod as well as upgrades as smf evolves

SMF Versions: 2.0 +

Description:
A mod that allows a user to Demo/Switch a mod without logging in
So that they can preview a template on click of preview Image in side panel

Example:
Something similar to what tumblr has

Feature Set:

  • Customizable, in case changes are needed (colors)
  • A place for my icon 150 px by 150 px in size
  • Site Title
  • Optional: Put the themes into categories
  • Image for Preview that clicks to load theme

Starting Colors:
Base: #000 / 1a1a1a or gradient of them (Dark themed)
Optional Highlight/gradient Colors: #0169a8, #01d1f7 #FFF

Permissions Admin Only

Purpose:
I am part of a chat community, I want to develop free SMF themes for other members of the community.
I would like to have a way to demo the themes I have made to date in a professional way

Attached are images of what I have in mind, but its not set in stone.
Just a general idea of what I am looking for. I am totally open to other ideas/layouts as well

It can be easily done with portal block and themes links like
index.php?theme=1
index.php?theme=2
index.php?theme=3
...

Thank you, but if you mean using EzPortal, then that isn't what I am looking for.
The portal will change the entire look of SMF and not display the theme in the way that they will be using it.

No need to use whole portlal look, you just need one portal block for your theme's links. Or you can use one of Ads mods to create this block.
If you can develop SMF themes, you can even create custom theme block without any mods.
And insert something like this code into your block

Curve theme

Core theme

I guess I am not getting what you are suggesting
So I have no idea how to implement it
I appreciate the assistance though

What he means is you could use a Block like this, and place it anywhere on the Forum.

SMF 2.1.4 / TP 2.2.2

ok, I think I see now
Though I am looking for something more than just a drop down, which is why I am willing to pay for it
I have seen the basic theme changer dropdown that was made over a decade ago and I want something I can style with colors and my avatar
Like with the pictures above, I am good with graphics and I can edit things, but I am not a coder
So if there is anyone who thinks they can code it for me, I am willing to pay

Still looking to hire someone to code what I am looking for which is something more than just a drop down.
