Slow Loading of Forum Pages

On my website, for some reason, every time i load up the forum, i have to wait 1 min to 3 mins for just 1 page to load, after which the page says it only too less than 1 second to load it.  Also, in the admin page, it can not contact the update server at www.simplemachines.org, this all started after i changed out my router, so is there some specific port other than 80 that i need open for the forums to not run so slow?

This forum wasn't functional for a few days because we were moving servers. Are you still having the same issues?

yes its still slow, and it still can't contact your site for updates. i believe this is the issue.  not being able to contact the update server or check for updates.  any way for me to temporarily disable it?

The link http://roguegames.no-ip.org/forum/Themes/default/print.css?rc1 and other files that point to the default theme directory  time out. The forum itself seems to be created pretty fast actually.
