Previously uninstalled/deleted mod still remains on my forum

I recently installed a mod called 'SimpleAds' on my forum. Having made some adjustments with the mod, suddenly the forum crashed, and  even I was unable to access the mod uninstall section to uninstall the installed mod from my forum.

Then I logged into my server root directory, removed the mod from the folder, and downloaded the backup file which was created before I installed the mod on my forum. After uploaded the downloaded backup files to my server root directory, everything was looking fine except previously installed mod still remains on my forum theme admin panel, but when I click on that mod, it gives me an http error. Also, the mod is not showing 'Package Manager' to uninstall/delete from my forum.

Can anyone give me a solution how to get rid of showing this mod on my forum admin panel?

Was the simple ads mod the last mod you installed? If so, when you downloaded the backup and then uploaded it to your server, did you get it from the packages directory?

Yes, it was the last mod I installed on my forum, and, yes, it was from the 'Packages' directory.

Odd, as that backup should bring your files back to where the forum was before you installed the mod.  What is the exact http error you are getting?

Can you go to the mod's page and look for the Manual Install Instructions for SMF link? In the version drop down list, choose version 2.0 and press the parse tab.

There you can see all the edits this mod makes and you can go through those files to see if any of this mod's code is still in any of the source or template files

It's very appreciated your help. I solved it. The issue was that there was a code section remained in ./Sources/Admin.php file similar to a code section showing in 'Manual Install Instructions' page of the mod. I deleted this code section, and now it disappeared showing on my forum's admin section. Thank you again.
