drag and drop attachments

Is there anyway i can have drag and drop attachments. It should upload before posting. because sometimes it takes lot of time to upload and the website keeps loading. so i just need something like drag and drop attachment.

It's a feature in the next version of SMF.

For SMF 2.0.x, the closest you are going to get is SMFPacks Advanced Attachments Uploader....  and it costs money.

The betas are available through the Download area.  The absolute latest is available on GitHub.

If ur looking for a specific date, then the generally accepted answer is "when it's ready, not one second before"...

Personally, I have no idea.  But if you figure it out, I know a lot of the community would probably appreciate you sharing....

It's a fairly huge amount of work, looking at the scale of changes made to 2.1 to do this
