So, I actually run two separate forums using SMF. They are both at 2.0.15 and are both hosted by godaddy.

One of the forums is giving me errors when trying to add an attachment to a post.

I've attached snapshots.

I don't understand why it would only happen in one. The other works fine.
The only real difference between the two is theme? Is it possible theme is an issue?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

What's the exact error?

Could happen if the forums were not upgraded correctly.

If you have access to phpmyadmin on that database do either of these two commands post back the results

describe smf_attachments;
Show create table  smf_attachments;

Is it weird that in the forum that isn't having any problems, if I do the describe smf_attachments;

There is no location field at all?

Arantor

So it was added by a mod - and the mod didn't clean up after itself correctly on uninstallation. It's probably safe to just remove the column since whatever code relied on it doesn't seem to be adding it any more on posting attachments.

Yep. Worked like a charm.

Just deleted the 'location' column and all is right with the world.

Thanks!
